FACE MISTS - COOLING DOWN THIS SUMMER HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER

Hi, babes! Emma here, ready to kick start the Summer with some skin care tips. Today, I'll be recommending some face mists for you to try to cool off during the week of heatwaves we Brits fondly refer to as Summer.

Face mists are one of those multipurpose skincare items that everyone should have in their collection, especially with the current humidity in the air. However, not all facial sprays are created equal, so it's wise to do your research before placing a (next day) order. That’s why I’m here with some recommendations to help you cool down when our one week of tropical weather hits.

So, I can assure you that there is a face mist in this selection for you, whether you have sensitive skin, need something to brighten a dull complexion, or just want to take in the calming aroma of lavender to feel a bit more relaxed.

Without further ado, let's see what are some of the best mists you can spritz all summer long.

Vichy Thermal Water Spray
A distinctive water with a high mineral content, Vichy Thermal Spa Water is prized for its calming and reviving qualities. Because it has been filtered via volcanic strata, it has a naturally higher concentration of 15 minerals and 13 trace elements. This face mist cools, reduces redness, and calms sensitive skin as a result.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water
This calming facial mist is ultra-fine and suitable for both children and adults. It works to nourish skin while you're on the go and gives your face a light cleanse.

Evian Facial Spray
Evian Facial Spray is a safe option if you want a no-frills face mist that instantly cools and calms the skin. You can use it as much as you'd like throughout the day; it quickly calms complexions because it contains important electrolytes from pure Evian mineral water in the Alps.

Avène Soothing Thermal Spring Water Spray
This face mist is high in silica and has a low mineral content, making it perfect for sensitive skin. Silica leaves a protective layer on the skin's surface. It may be used for all skin types, is rapidly cooling, and can be applied to heal sunburn, razor burn, dehydrate while travelling, or set makeup.

Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner
This face mist, which is a combination of calming apricot, plant glycerin, and deionized water without any harsh surfactants or alcohols, excels in moisturising dry skin without causing any sensitivity. It can be applied to cotton pads and rubbed over the skin as a toner after cleansing, or you can spritz it on your face for immediate cooling on very hot days.

Or... You could make your own, from the comfort of your bathroom with the help of a spritzer and your tap!

There you go, babes, now go, mist away!

Love,
Emma
